New Year's Eve!!!

To anyone who reads this, Happy New Year's Eve!!!  Once again we have made it through another year, although, at least in my case, this particular was not so simple to get through.

I rang in the year last year with a desire to change my life, and as I look at it today, one year later, it has definitely changed, but not all of the changes were good.  I feel like I lost more people this year, and my family did lose a couple relatives on both sides, which included my paternal grandfather who passed away in April.  I also lost a few friends, including one which I really did not want to lose, but now that I am ringing in a new year I am trying very hard to put the past behind me.

So, this year, I have decided to reveal my New Year's resolutions to myself, and myself alone.  I am looking forward to an exciting year (and when I think about it, an exciting decade filled with changes for my life as I progress and go from being a teenager into a young woman in her twenties (of course, that does not become official until March).  I am not doing anything hugely spectacular for New Year's, but I will be very safe as I am sitting for one of the children who attends the daycare where I work, but I do wish and hope for everyone to have a Happy New Year!!!
