...I have decided that after more than three years since deleting my last true blog, I am going to try once again.
I am not creating this blog for any particular purpose, just pretty much (at the moment) to document the humdrum and exciting moments of my life.
I am not going to publicly advertise this blog, so if you stumble upon it (whether because I commented on your own blog or you were bored enough to find me), I hope you find it interesting.
I am hoping to write poetry for the blog, perhaps giving it a sense of flavor.
My life is somewhat dull at the moment. I am a sophomore in college living at home with my parents, brother, and sister. I can't exactly say things are boring here, but they are far from perfect. My mother has been unemployed for three months now and I am sitting here counting down the days until the day I leave for another school, but the battle is far from over; in fact, with this economy you can say it's only beginning.
But I can't honestly say I'm terribly frustrated with my life, for I have faith that things in my life are about to change...for the better, and the signs are everywhere.
For starters, the decade is almost over, and it's certainly not going out on a high note. But with a new decade in the world comes a new decade in my own life, for I am turning 20 in March, a benefit that only comes with being born in a year ending in "0", of course.
So I have just finished my third semester in college, not with my best marks I might add (then again, when you have a gpa as high as mine was it's hard for it to not go down)...I made my first C, which does not please me, but I am taking it easy next semester by taking just four classes. With these, I should be completely finished with my core by the end of the school year so I feel great about that.
But overall, I still feel good. I have been ill over the weekend but I feel good. I am getting all four of my wisdom teeth extracted on Friday but I feel good. I am 7,221 days old and I feel good.
Life is Good.
La vie est bonne.
Afternote: I am going to challenge myself to try to update this blog as often as possible, but never more than once a day and never less than once a week. The title of my blog refers to my life. I was born in the desert (AZ) and I currently live in the Piedmont (GA). The beyond portion of the title refers to the unknown that lies in store for me as my life marches on.
à bientôt.
